Labiaplasty, also known as labia reduction or labia rejuvenation, is a procedure to decrease the size and improve the appearance of enlarged, hypertrophic or asymmetrical labia minora. The enlarged labia may cause some women to experience discomfort during different physical activities. Some of the distortion of the labia can be due to changes that occur during childbirth. In addition to childbirth, aging and various types of injuries can cause the labia to become enlarged or asymmetrical.

What Is Labiaplasty?

Labiaplasty also known as labia reduction surgery works by removing extra tissue from the labia minora thus reducing their size to create a more proportionate appearance. The labia on the right and left sides can be made to look more symmetric in appearance. A labiaplasty can give many women greater confidence and self esteem.
