Start Your Saturday at The Farmer's Market
From town greens to city parks and rest stops on highways, farmers gather with their produce. Farmers markets are a great way to stock up on fresh local fruits and vegetable, but they can also be a fun event to start off your Saturday morning. If you haven’t made a farmer’s market visit part of your regular routine, you may just want to add it to your weekend to do list before the market ends for the season.
The Carmel Farmers Market was founded in 1998 and has been bringing the finest in Indiana grown and/or produced food and plant products to the citizens of Carmel for nearly a quarter century. With over seventy weekly vendors and 110,000 visitors last summer, Carmel's Farmers Market is one of the largest, if not the largest, farmers markets in Indiana.
The Zionsville Farmers' Market was started in 1997 by volunteers who saw an opportunity to bring fresh, local produce to the Zionsville community. Since then, it has grown into a staple of Zionsville summers, providing those who visit with produce, baked goods, and freshly prepared food by our fantastic vendors. We pride ourselves on a diverse group of vendors and goods that bring people from near and far to the heart of Zionsville, located right on our historic main street.
These markets are more than just places to pick up groceries – they are a community gathering spots where people can come together, share stories, and enjoy local music while shopping for fresh and healthy food!
