BOTOX® Administration
BOTOX® is Botulin toxin that is administered in a simple, non surgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between brows and along the forehead as well as fine lines around the eyes.
Very low doses are administered via a few tiny injections directly into muscles that cause fine facial lines. BOTOX® injections cause the facial muscles to relax. The procedure is quick and minimally invasive. No anesthesia is required, although occasionally anesthetic cream can be applied topically prior to administration. The treatment itself takes only about 15 minutes!
You may be surgrised to find out that there is no downtime after the BOTOX® procedure. Discomfort is minimal and brief. Localized pain, swelling, redness and or bleeding/bruising are the most common side effects. Unusual side effects include infection and temporary lid droop.
Results can be seen within days after your treatment. Visible results have been shown to last up to 4 months.
